Strategy
You can organize twinline groups according to your process stability requirements:
TIO (TwinLine-Island-Outer) strategy:
With this strategy, Flux generates tooling paths in the following order:

TwinLine cuts: Laser paths between overlapping edges of adjacent parts. These are always open paths and are cut first, before any other paths.

Islands: Skeleton islands formed between parts in the group. These closed contours are cut next, always starting at a node already touched by a twin-line path.

Outer cut: Each twin-line group has a single outer contour, which is always cut last. The software approaches this contour from the left-bottom or left-top, based on the specified cutting direction (clockwise or anticlockwise) in the settings.
Partwise-safe strategy (Default):
In this approach, cutting moves to the next part only after the current part is fully cut out. At junction nodes where adjacent parts meet, preparatory cuts are made to prevent the laser head from approaching a part that is already cut (and may tilt). This strategy is ideal for thin sheets where parts could tilt.
If there are islands within the nest, Flux will cut the island completely free instead of just making a precut (see image below).
Partwise strategy:
This strategy is similar to the partwise-safe strategy, but without preparatory cuts. At junction nodes, cutting for the next part resumes a short distance into the twin-line path, starting a little away from the junction node and cutting a small section of the path.

Select the Use TIO strategy if there are no islands checkbox to apply the TIO strategy whenever there are no islands in the twin-line group.
