Lock part-rest

The Lock part-rest setting is used to lock the rest-orientation of the part to the drop-orientation.

This feature is useful when the part needs to be rested on a supporting block.

Select the Lock part-rest check box and adjust the delta shift vector in 'Z' direction to get a perfect stack.
Normally, Flux RoboBend will use a gravity-drop simulation to "drop" the part so it rests securely on the ground. You can see in white the drop position and in blue the rest position, computed by the gravity drop physics simulation.
In some cases, such as this example shown in the image, you may want the part to retain its drop orientation as its resting orientation, rather than performing a gravity drop. By selecting the Lock part-rest checkbox, the part will rest in the drop orientation. This is useful when a supporting block is used to hold the part in place.
In the example shown in the image, the rotate value is set to -45°, the delta shift in the 'Z' direction is set to -7.5, and the Lock part-rest checkbox is selected to unload the part in this specific orientation.
